DeZign S430 vs DeZign S550 – What Replaced These Vinyl Flooring Ranges?

Updated 2026: DeZign has discontinued both the Series 430 and Series 550 luxury vinyl flooring collections. The manufacturer now offers the DeZign Series 540 as its latest range. It features updated colours, modern timber-inspired designs and the same quality that made the earlier collections so popular.

Many homeowners still search for the DeZign S430 and S550 when comparing old quotations or replacing existing floors. For that reason, we’ve kept this guide online. If you’re planning a new flooring project, the DeZign Series 540 is now the recommended option.

Why Did DeZign Replace the S430 and S550?

Flooring manufacturers regularly update their collections to introduce new colours and keep up with changing design trends. DeZign followed the same approach by replacing the Series 430 and Series 550 with the newer Dezign Series 540.

The latest collection offers a refreshed colour palette, realistic wood textures and modern finishes that complement today’s homes and commercial spaces. Customers also benefit from ongoing product support and the confidence of buying a current production range.

Looking Back at the DeZign S430 and S550

When both collections were available, many customers compared the S430 and S550 before making a decision. Both ranges offered durable luxury vinyl flooring with attractive timber-inspired designs that suited a wide variety of interiors.

The biggest differences came down to colour options, wear layer specifications and overall product positioning. Depending on the project, one range often suited a customer’s needs better than the other. Today, however, neither collection remains in production, making the DeZign Series 540 the natural replacement.

Why Choose the DeZign Series 540?

• Current DeZign luxury vinyl flooring collection.
• Modern colours inspired by natural timber.
• Stylish finishes suitable for contemporary homes.
• Ideal for residential and light commercial applications.
• Easy to clean and maintain.
• Available with professional installation from Laminate Floor World.

If you’re replacing an older DeZign floor or starting a new renovation, the Series 540 offers the best long-term solution. Because it’s part of the current product range, you’ll enjoy better product availability and easier access to matching boards if you need additional flooring in the future.

Should You Still Look for the S430 or S550?

We generally don’t recommend searching for discontinued flooring. Although you may occasionally find old stock, matching boards can become difficult to source if you expand your floor or need repairs later. Choosing the current DeZign Series 540 gives you greater peace of mind and ongoing manufacturer support.

Final Thoughts

The DeZign S430 and DeZign S550 both built a strong reputation for quality and value. Although DeZign no longer manufactures either collection, the new DeZign Series 540 continues that legacy with updated colours, modern styling and dependable performance. If you’re considering a new luxury vinyl floor, the Series 540 is the range we recommend today.
